It's been forever since I've posted because life has been a bit of a rollercoaster. (Did I mention I had surgery?) But I've been writing and editing and revising. Just not retiring from my IRL job because...well, reasons. However, I have been traveling and researching and planning lots of goodness for you. So darlings, I'm… Continue reading Yeah, so I suck at blogging.
You might wonder why a book in a series about Irish gods is set primarily in Scotland. Well...the answer is two-fold. The first is that's where Gareth lives as a young adult and adult, but he was born in Ireland of Irish parents. The second is that for the Celtic Otherworld--Tír na Nog--isn't subdivided into… Continue reading A Scottish God in an Irish Series?
Christmas: the most wonderful time of the year, isn’t it? Or so it’s said. For me, Christmas was and is The Nutcracker. You can keep your Rudolph and his shiny nose. So what if there is a year without a Sant Claus? Give me Clara and her Nutcracker, a battle with a giant mouse, a… Continue reading It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.

I’m it.

Son #1 is taking the world by storm And now Gods and Mortals is about to be released. It… Continue reading Gods and Mortals
Looking for summer reads? Of course I'm going to recommend "Real Magic" http://www.extasybooks.com/978-1-4874-1904-2-real-magic/?search=dehel&sub_category=1 But also check out this great new blog, and I'm not (just) saying that because of her wonderful review of "Inferno." https://litthirsty214.blogspot.com/2018/06/inferno-by-ds-dehel.html
Life has been a wild ride these past few months. Inferno was briefly a best seller. (That counts, right?) I've finished edits on an upcoming Summer Short called "Real Magic." I have a holiday short in process, and I just signed a contract for a 4 book series. Life is good.
On Friday, Inferno was released, and to celebrate a friend helped me throw a party. Food, drinks, and an unbelievable cake.
Where some ideas come from.
