A Scottish God in an Irish Series?

You might wonder why a book in a series about Irish gods is set primarily in Scotland.

Well…the answer is two-fold. The first is that’s where Gareth lives as a young adult and adult, but he was born in Ireland of Irish parents.

The second is that for the Celtic Otherworld–Tír na Nog–isn’t subdivided into countries like the Upperworld. In my version of the Otherworld, it’s all one country.  It’s divided by geography, not nationality.  That’s important because of the way the gods’ movement is restricted.

But Ellie can explain  even more about the ins and outs of gods and travel because she’s met gods from other places in the world.
